CSMS Co-Founder

Wg. Cdr. Arijit Ghosh is the Co-Founder of the Centre for Sports & Management Studies (CS&MS) along with Mr. Enrico Piperno, the former Indian Tennis Champion and Davis Cup team Coach. After serving the Indian Air Force (IAF) for 25 Years, he drives his passion for sports through CS&MS.

During his service career, Wg. Cdr. Arijit was Commanding Officer of 4 IAF units and Headed the Air Force Sports Control Board (AFSCB), equivalent to a Secretary of a State Sports Association. As Head of the AFSCB, he was involved in the management and administration of team with elite level athletes, coaches, and sports administrators.

Wg. Cdr. Arijit headed Indian Military Sports Contingents to Military World Championships overseas as Chief of Mission and served as the Asian Representative on an elite four members Jury of Appeal.

Wg. Cdr. Arijit is a former Ranji Trophy Cricketer, Level B Coach from the BCCI National Cricket Academy, and a BCCI Match Referee for Domestic Matches.

Wg. Cdr. Arijit is involved in CS&MS’s Post Graduate Program in Sports Management (PGPSM) since 2017. The CS&MS program has promoted skilled, trained, and young professional managers to the Sports industry.

Wg. Cdr. Arijit is a regular writer on Cricket in Outlook Magazine in the National Media with over 50 published articles. He is also a contributor for a web magazine for an internationally Canadian Magazine.
